Our Ministries

Sunday School

Each week, our Sunday school teachers faithfully teach the Bible and how to apply its principles to our lives. Our classes use curriculum from Lifeway to deepen our understanding of the passages we study. We meet each Sunday at 9:30 am, in the following classes.

  • Ages 5 and under: west hallway, led by Sharon Wallace
  • 1st-6th graders: east hallway, led by Kay Azlin
  • Youth (7th-12th graders): south hallway, led by Kathy Zeller
  • Men’s class: south hallway, led by Ralph Zeller
  • Ladies’ class: south hallway, led by Lawana Lee
  • JOY Class (Just Older Youth): south hallway, led by Ken Jackson

Children’s Ministry

Children’s Church. Each Sunday morning, children from 5 years old to 3rd grade join us for the beginning of the morning worship service. Just before the message, the Music Minister dismisses these kids to go to children’s church where they learn an age-appropriate Bible lesson and do crafts and other activities that reinforce what they’ve learned.

Nursery. On Sunday mornings, we have a nursery available for children 4 and under.

vbs logoVacation Bible School. Each summer, we have Vacation Bible School for children who have just completed grades K-6.

Prayer Ministry

Prayer is one of Trinity’s core values. We encourage people to have personal times of prayer every day, and Prayer groups meet multiple times each week to lift up the physical and spiritual needs of our church and our community. These include:

  • Sunday mornings: from 9:00-9:20 am in the Prayer Room (located behind the auditorium at the far northeast corner of our building)
  • Wednesday evenings: from 6:00-6:20 pm in the Fellowship Hall (located at the far southeast corner of our building)

We also pass along urgent prayer requests throughout the week through our Prayer Ministry. If we can pray for you, please send us your prayer request today.

Music Ministry

Adult Choir. Our adult choir assists the Music Minister in leading the congregation in worship each Sunday morning.

Instrumental Music. Musicians provide accompaniment for the congregational singing, as well as special music.

Praise Night. Four or five times each year, Trinity has a Praise Night on a Sunday night, where members sing or play songs, share testimonies, or bring other presentations that honor Jesus Christ.

Evangelism Training

One of the most common objections people offer to sharing the Gospel is, “I don’t know how.” To remedy this, Trinity offers evangelism training on Wednesday nights to help equip people to tell others about the salvation God offers us in Jesus Christ.

Evangelism training takes place on Wednesdays from 6:20-6:50 pm, after prayer meeting.

We are currently using a curriculum called The Story, which helps us learn how to share the Gospel in a clear, natural, conversational way that makes sense even to those who’ve never heard of Jesus Christ.

You’re invited to come and participate; please let us know you’re coming so we can get a workbook for you.

Discipleship Training

Discipleship training classes take place on Sunday nights at 5:00 pm (when there is an evening service).

Adults meet for a chapter-by-chapter by discussion of the Bible, led by  Terry Nix. This group is very informal and encourages people to learn by participating in group discussions, if they’re so inclined.

Children meet for a Bible lesson, praise songs, and crafts, led by Kathy Zeller.

Women on Mission

Each month, September through May, the ladies of Trinity meet together for coffee and dessert on the 1st Tuesday of the month.

Women on Mission focus on different missionaries at each meeting, and spend time in prayer for their work. All ladies from the church and community are welcome. Meetings typically last from 6:30-7:30 pm.

Each month, September through May, the men of Trinity meet together for breakfast on the 3rd Saturday of the month.

Our Brotherhood gatherings are a time for the men of the church to spend time together as we visit, prepare and eat breakfast, pray, and hear a short devotional. All men from the church and community are welcome. We start cooking at 7:00 am, and breakfast lasts from 8:00-9:00 am.

Ladies’ Bible Study

Our Ladies’ Bible Study meets on Tuesdays at 9:15 am in the fellowship hall to study God’s Word, often using a particular book or lesson series to direct their lessons. They are currently taking a break for the summer, but will resume meeting on September 6, 2016, using Priscilla Shirer’s book, The Armor of God. All ladies are welcome to participate.
